B4000 Blinker??

B4000 Blinker??
1999 Mazda B4000 SE. When my headlights are on, the right turn indicator light in the dashboard stays lit, and so does the right rear turn signal. I turn on the right blinker and nothing happens. When the lights are off and I hit the right blinker, my hazard lights come on. The left blinker works just fine. I don't have a manual, so I'm not sure what's going on here. For all I know, the front right marker might have a filiment out, or there is a short somewhere, or....? Any help would be really appreciated- I really don't want the dealers to pull one over on me and charge $500 for a new bulb. Thanks

I had something similar with my lights and it was the harness for my trailer. The harnis had shorted and was causing me to keep the left blinker light on when the headlights were on and would work fine when the headlights were off

Well, the problem seems to have gone away for now. I was thinking it was the multifunction switch, because I had checked and switched the blinkers. It had been raining here, though, so it might be a short in the wires somewhere that is only affected when it gets wet. I'll just have to wait until it breaks again. Thanks everyone.

Had virtually the same problem, but not quite as extensive. Replaced the flasher - buy it from Ford not Mazda (10 dollars cheaper) - all problems fixed. Mine was very intermittant until the flasher replaced. Been about 3 months now with no problem.
