The inside was made into a camper by someone with real carpentry talent, not a wasted inch of space and the woodwork and upholstery was very nice. My dad drove it a couple of times to go camping but lost interest but as I was a teenage at the time I had a lot of fun with it for a few years driving up to the woods and camping out with it. It was either a 3/4 ton or one ton truck, it had eight lug single axle wheels like my F-2, I remember it had the same hubcaps and had a really tired six cylinder engine. There was one extremely long steep hill on the interstate I had to go over. One long holiday weekend on the way back home I had cars backed up a mile or more behind me as I went up the hill, topping out at about 10 mph. We had a lot of good times in that van. I wish I had taken pictures of it. After my dad died my mom had someone clear the yard and scrap the van.
now that sounds fun Bob,Im afraid if i get this one one going, my son eventually will drive it to the woods..
It will not be as slow hopefully.

thanks Bill.. I'll give them a call..

That seems like a lot for a hood with little demand, and has a big hole in the middle of it. Or maybe I just don't know what P-parts are worth. Hmmm.

Well it came with glass, a grill, whole "face" of another vanette, new straight 6 radiator, steering wheel with perfect horn button, doors, horn, dash assembly, wipers.
gas was spent, 6 pack of blue moon, good food, pack of reciprocating saw blades and a perfect morning with a good friend and fellow fte'r. Hamz52.
i was gonna sell the sheet metal but i can put it back together and have a cool yard art or bedroom wall or bed heard board or wall hanger..

So you bought the hood for $650, and they threw the rest in? Not bad. Not bad at all.
