Has anyone tried China made aftermarket vacuum lock outs? Thinking about trying a set because of price.....look identical...,around $50.00 or so on eBay
I wouldn't trust a set of cheap hubs like that, even several of the name brand ones are garbage, the only 3 I would use are Warn, Milemarker, or Dynatrac.
eBay is generally not a place to buy car parts like a hub or other mechanical parts from unless it's like from a reputable store or something (jegs and others sometimes sell parts on ebay). Otherwise you're getting china no name crap. Granted even the major manufacturers make their stuff over there, but they're at least willing to put their name on it.
That being said, if you don't mind wasting $50 and don't care if they fail and you wasted your time installing and put you back at square 1 - go for it. Don't see how they could cause TOO much damage elsewhere if they fail.
