Tire question

THe tire issue is very confusing for me..I cirrently have a 2013 FX4 supercrew..the tires are 275/55/20...I am wanting to "fill out" the stance of the truck..I have a level kit on it now..I don't want to jack it up or anything but just fill it out so it looks more beefy i guess..what size would i need..i really have zero idea as of what avenue to go down to accomplish this..so I figured I would ask you all! I appreciate the help out front..

also where is the best place to buy parts...looking for a roll bar and nerf bars..

If you want to keep the exact same tire size, your only choice is to get a tire with beefy treads, something like a Goodyear Duratrac.

If you install a LT285/65R20 it will be about 2.5" taller and about half an inch wider. Good luck, Russ

the truck will sit 2.5" taller or the tire will be 2.5" taller so therefore you get about 1.25" overall height of the truck?

I'm dumb when it comes to tires.

I have the same set up and am doing Bilstein 5100s in the rear...someday I will get to the front and set on 1.5-1.75" (whichever the 3rd setting is)

Overall height will be 1.25”. But know that tire sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. I would recommend a 295/65/20 that is essentially a 35” tire and only 11.5 inches wide. Check out the Nitto Ridge Grappler. It has an aggressive look but great road manners. I have had several sets on my Jeep and trucks.

The tire will be about 2.5" taller and as a result the truck will sit 1.25" higher. Russ

I don't know the metric tire thing but I have a 2006 F4x4 with the 4 door full cab and that little 5.5 bed on it. I put a leveling kit on it and I have 33" tires and they work fine with no rubbing. I was using the truck in the mountains in Colorado elk hunting before moving back to Texas it went in some rough and very rocky places.
