Found this thing attached to the pass side frame tucked between the radiator and battery on my '94 F350 7.5L. Appears to have lines running to the valve cover and some other place...
What is it? A filter of some kind? The previous owner actually had two of them hooked up in series but I removed the one that clearly wasn't factory installed.
Any idea why the PO would have installed a second one in series? It was just zip-tied next to the first one...
Some applications used two in tandem for needed extra capacity. You would have to chase your truck's install either through a parts manual, shop manual or emissions manual. You would need to find the ENGINE CALIBRATION CODE to find exact build data.
