I'm getting ready to fix the water leak from the cowl and I noticed that I'm missing this center piece between the weather stripping. Does anyone know the part number for this and if it is essential or can I live without it? I attached some pics of the piece that I am missing. I couldn't find anything about it in the tech folder.
Seville, thanks for the suggestion but that isn't the right part. The part you suggested is the windshield glass spacer.
Flyboy, the part that is missing looks like it sits between the 2 pieces of weather stripping that sit between the cowl and the windshield not the larger weather stripping between the hood and hood side of the cowl.
Most of the tech folder repairs are between the left and right cowl pieces not that gap by the windshield.
