bodywork. help!! has anyone +
ever removed the panel that is between the hood and the windshield? The one that covers the wipers mechanism. Any ideas how to get under it? it's shown on the picture below:

Oh, that PITA. I can't remember specifics on removal/replacement, but I think you have to pull the windshield in the process, along with the outer fenders and wiper arms. Not an easy task, quite involved, and quite a PITA. Is yours dented or rusted?

yep, it's dented for sure. there's a hole right over the break booster bracket that is inside the cabin (on the firewall near the pedals)... sh%tty explanation I guess, but to get there I have to tear off this grid from top. Guess I will just cut it out with an angle grinder and MAG it back after I fix the dent.
All the water (at least a huge part of it) from the windshield went inside cabin through that dent and ended up on the firewall and floor. Now they are completely rot. Hve to fix them also
