It’s nice to know;
1. You and your family are hanging in there, hope the Mrs continues to feel better and
2 Hagarty is good for their word. Many of us use them but most have never had to file a claim.
Jimmy, great to hear from you today. Well to be honest it has always been great to hear from you, just especially more so now.
I saw a picture on BBC news that showed a local place - the Black Bear Diner...and it looked like the building was gone but the 'Welcome to Bearadise' figure was still intact. I hope that can be a sign of renewal and growth as the city rebuilds. And it may take some time but I believe the town will come together and be better than it was before.

Jimmy, hang in there, my friend. This too shall pass. I know where your heart is and know you trust that the Lord will provide, and your friends and family here helping you is a testament to that. Please accept our gifts graciously, and keep your head up. To see you thinking of others, even in your hard times now is an inspiration. God bless you and your family.
Jim, I just opened up the site. I am so sorry for the anguish that you and your wife are going through. You are in our prayers and thoughts. Thank you for sharing and for the updates. I am thankful you made it out. Yes, FTE is family.
Good am FTE'ers, Update I went down with a Migraine and fever mid morning yesterday, so I slept for 20 hours and am ok now, it was just exhaustion I think.. I heard a rumor that they want us to move to a different shelter in our home county for access to FEMA and insurance company's. .We are just so gratfull for a place to be other than the car.I so appreciate the offers for a room from some of you but cant do that, I realistily know what a n imposition that becomes after a day or two and wouldn't ever do that to any of you, but the fact that you asked shows how much love you have in your hearts. That brings up the PayPal account. WOW you all have been so, so, so, generous, Thank you from the bottom of my heart the $ will most defiantly be used for essential items only, no Starbucks or that isn't absolutely necessary. LOL I will check in when I can. LOve and Blessings (Ill rock and roll later) JIMMY
As promised here is a pic of the house. If you look at the left side that was the garage and the F1 dead but refused to melt down, Im so proud of that truck, at least it got to live an extra 15years. May it rest in piece, right.JIMMY
Thanks for the update Jimmy, our hearts ache for you and the other fine folks in and around Paradise. It brings a tear to my eye to see your fine F1 sitting there in the rubble knowing how many scarce dollars and manhours you spent to get it perfected. As one door closes another opens...here's to a wonderful new world on the other side of that door. Godspeed...
Jimmy, thanks for the update and photo. I am SO sorry for your loss, I wish I could do more to help. I am very thankful that you are trusting in the Lord thru this. He WILL see you thru this trial and continue to provide for ALL your needs. You will continue to be in my prayers.

Seriously Jimmy, thanks for the picture and if you need anything please just ask, You have many friends around the world that would be proud to be able to help you.
Jim, my heart breaks for you. The Colorado Springs area has been through two major fires in the last few years. Your pictures bring back bad memories. I see the remains of your foundation and landscaping. Our Waldo Canyon and Black Forest fires looked the same. Only the stonework survived. We had friends from the Black Forest fire evacuate and live with us for a week. Entire family, dogs, cat, goats and chickens. Luckily, their house survived. Two other friends had losses like you have. One friend lost the 65 mustang he drove in high school. I hope your F1 can be salvaged. Some of the classics in the Black Forest fire were only scorched and could be rebuilt. Let's hope yours can be rebuilt.
Take care and God bless
Rusty
