Thanks Everyone!
I've certainly learned a lot from lurking, and researching, and tearing everything apart 3 times, more than I ever wanted to know.
I still don't quite understand the function of that check ball, based on my issues it would seem that it helps pressure build when warm (?). Anti-siphon-back valve?
I ask because I fear I may have gouged it ever so slightly trying to dig it out of there, and not wanting to wait another 3 weeks for parts from the US, I put it back.
It may be cranking ever so slightly longer before it fires, maybe 1.5 seconds, but it has been months since I pulled it apart, so my memories may be wrong. Also Air may not be fully worked out yet.
Regardless, If someone can describe it's function, that would be wonderful!

Oh, and if anyone ever needs to 3D print an IPR wrench, I've posted my design files here:

when you change out the HPO lines i have heard you remove the check *****. When i change to the CNC lines they used a different type of fitting, flare, vs the ford OEM type. not sure what the purpose of the check ball is but I don't have them and get a quick 1-2 sec crank time. might check some old post on this as well..

The check ball he found loctite on is absolutely, 100% still required and has zero correlation to the check valves in the outlet fittings.
