And Pirate 4x4. I thank you for your voice of concern. I can understand and appreciate a scorned soul. But at the end of the day, I really think an excursion is the right choice for our family.
Ive been trying to purchase from a private sale as most of the time, the type of rig I'm looking for, they know what's been done and the history. Going to a dealer, it's a bit of a crap shoot.

This unit looks very clean, not as sharp as the '03, but lower miles, similar price and an '05, which I've read the later units were less troublesome. I'm not a super fan of the color. I don't hate it, just not my first choice. And I really wanted a bench second row.
So what should I be looking for when I go to test drive this one? How do I know if the EGR is replaced, removed? How would I know studs? Blue spring?
Living in New England I do agree on the condition of the body being important. Rust is a cancer that's very hard to cure or stop.

Looks good. But looks are only second to performance. And if you are not happy and looking to swap the second row captains chairs for a bench, there’s quite a few people that will oblige. I’ll be the first
