we have low sulder diesel. Our tax on our fuel in Canada is way more then you guys pay in tax in the states. So that's not the reason your diesel is more then gas. I think they just rip you guys off. Keep in mind we pay 5 bucks Canadian for 1 us gallon of gas.

With the current conversion rate, that'd be about $3.80 per US gallon. We only pay a little less than that here in Alaska.
Here's a picture of my Uni! It's not DRW... but it's an #11,000 GVWR 6.2L with 18 inch rims and 4.30 rear.... Means I have 3909 LBS of payload and 15,000 LBS of 5th wheel out back! (Cat not included!)
If you need a diesel because you tow a lot (frequently or heavy weight), there’s no debating what to buy. If you’re shopping for a HD truck and want a diesel because you can afford it, don’t hesitate, get one so you can enjoy the diesel experience.
If the diesel option isn’t in your budget (initial $9k+ option cost & routine maintenance), the 6.2 has proven capable by several on this forum.
Switching from a 13 Ram Cummins to current 6.2 gas, I do miss the diesel low end torque. I’m lucky to put 6-7k miles a year on my truck with several short errand drives so that’s the recipe for a short lived emission system. In my case, a total front end failure instead.
Once any of the big 3 find a way to put out a diesel without dirty EGR and complicated $$$ downstream exhaust treatment, I won’t hesite to go diesel again.
NEED. NEED. NEED. LOL..............by far, most on here don’t even NEED a truck, much less a Super Duty!!!!!!!!!!! They WANT the toys they pull with their rigs. Sure, there are those farmers/ranchers etc. and those others that use their trucks for work related stuff. But me tthinks they are a small minority!!!
We could all live very well without the 5th wheel, the 38 ft TT, the 26 ft boat, the 5 snow machines......and the list goes on!!! And then there are plenty of those on here that don’t tow anything!!!! Just want a big truck!!
