Outdoor vehicle cover
Hey everyone, my f350 will be parked hopefully all winter again but this year I need a good quality cover for it. Last year between the rains/snow/leaves/pollen it made my paint look like crap. Luckily this spring a good detail was all that wa needed to get her smooth as silk again. I just dont feel like taking an entire weekend to buff/wax/detail ever nook and cranny (OCD kicking in). I've done a little research and I see covers from 200 dollars all the way up to almost 1,000dollars! I need something that gonna last outdoors, shield the truck from UV damage/rain/bird droppings you k ow the norm. I dont want to spent 500 dollars on a cover but if I have too I will, SO ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Also I assume a cover that's felt lined so the cover wont damge my paint either?

If you have the space for it, I’d get something like those portable car shelters that you can drive into.
I think putting a cover directly on a truck will be a royal pain, especially when it’s windy and snowing while you’re trying to do it. In addition, the melted snow on the warm car will freeze parts of the cover on it overnight. I put a tarp over my Skidsteer in the winter, and based in that experience, I wouldn’t try it with a full size truck.

As stupid as it sounds in my township I cant have a car port becase my driveway is too close to my neighbors house and I was denied. If it wasnt I would have pit one up 12 years ago when I moved here. And wind etc wont be a problem because once it's on the cover wont be removed till spring time

Yes DOZENS of Google listings, I asked if anyone had expirence with a certain brand so I wouldn't spend money on a cover that let water or snow through it even though its "waterproof" or one that says ant scratch felt then when i pull it off i have paint rub issues

I am also in the market for a cover for my '13 250. I have a cap over the bed. I would recommend a company that specializes in making covers vs. your basic generic fly by night over advertised cover. I'm leaning towards a CoverCraft. California Car Covers make decent covers as well. I have an indoor "CalCarCover" for my Thunderbirds. Let us know what you settle on.
