20's fill the wheel well out nicely. The smaller ones make the truck look lower and underpowered.

Hard to say my friend. It really boils down to what you consider acceptable. If your a flat lander then it may not even be a factor for the occasional heavy towing. I do love the look of the 20's I must admit. Mine look like like I'm running on doughnut spares... I have though about trying the middle ground with the 275/70/18's.

Man that sure changes to look of the truck for sure. Those are my favorite looking OEM 20's that Ford has.

Here is a neat tire size comparison tool

Did you notice alot of power loss? I have a 19 on order and cant decide between 35's or 37's. Going with a 2.5 in level lift

I recently replaced my 275/70/18 tires and PVD Chrome Lariat 18's with 20" Polished Platinum wheels with 275/65/20 tires. They were take off's at a dealer and had -100 miles on them.

Road forced balanced running 55lbs without towing and they ride EXACTLY like the 18's. Dealer scanned and adjusted ECM for the 20's and all is good.

I also have 3:73 read end and a 6.2. I'm not seeing any measurable difference in fuel consumption.

Any measurable performance difference? Slower take-off/acceleration, etc?

No impact to performance that I noticed. Still punchy with great power buzzin' around in traffic.Pulled 4500lb boat out of water to dealer for service recently, again, no noticeable impact on my limited and light towing.

Others that tow big rigs may be in a different spot...but my single Harley trailers and boat are all I tow around and so far no regrets and I like the looks of the 20's.

I always wanted a Super Duty but didn't part with my Chevy's until the new body (2017) came out. Fan for life..!!

Aesthetics aside, the overall diameter, within fractions of an inch, can easily be obtained by changing the tire size...so, switching from 17s to 20s can net the same performance/economy result, no ?
