Ordered pin extractor thru local auto parts store and find it is quite clear how the extractor works for the male pins but I be damn if I can figure out how the extractor with the dark handle is used to remove the female pin, it appears to be nothing more than a hex head screw driver. Incline to believe it is not the correct tool; if not, appreciate info on source for the correct tool or information on how to use the tool? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for the info: appears the wire is soldered onto the female pin, which has a spur type clip and once the wire is inserted into the connector the spur type clip locks them in place. If understand correctly to release the pin I have to reverse the process by wedging the tool between the connector and spur clip and put on the wire and attached pin? Intend giving it a try in the a.m. Again thank you for the input!!
