proper pin removal?
Would like to know correct way to remove pins from wire couplers. I know I read how to do it on a post but can't find it. Do you need a special tool or thanks.

You can get a special tool for the job, but i have also found a good sturdy sewing needle with the tip ground a little will do the same. In the front of the plug, there will be a small notch above the pin. push needle in slightly and then pull wire gently.

Most likely you will have to remove a pin retainer first, which is usually red. I have found that a flathead glasses or jeweler's screwdriver works well too. Make sure to take the retainer out because you won't get anywhere with that still in the connector.
