Telescopic magnet is probably your best bet. Sorry to the bad news.

I drained the oil, hoping there was a god that would let it just fall out... It was wishful thinking. Would it have fallen into the cylinder?
It fell right where the light is,

If it went into the injector sleeve, it's either on a piston or a valve.

Can that be fished out?

Possibly, with a magnet. Maybe a pickle claw if you know exactly where it's at. That would require the use of a telescopic camera.

Worse case you take the valve train off to get you more room. If the bolt fell in, it will only go as far as the piston/cylinder....and it will be toward the outside since it sits at an angle.
I am sure you'll find it

The question will be did it go down the injector tip hole or down the oil return?
Only you know the size of the bit to know if it will make it through the injector hole.
One of these should help.
I think it was RustyA who pulled the pan to recover one of these.

It went down the hole closest to the glow plug, the injector was still bolted in when it came loose.

No luck using the camera. So the question now is how do I pull the pan, praying it would be in there

Try the camera again. If the injector wasn't out, then there's a good chance it's in the valley, maybe hidden by the valve springs
