I would imagine that a lot of us know someone, or is related to someone hurt in one way or another by this thing. We have friends up there who also lost everything. The MIA count keeps going up. Let's hope that it's mostly a failure to communicate, but we shall see.

Based on what they are saying, a number of the MIA are duplicates. They also believe there are numbers of people who don't even know they are on the missing list. Of course, the victims are scattered all over the place, so that can't help. The other issue was that there were a large number of elderly people who may not have had a way to get out quickly.
