So monday I got to work and after a bit a coworker told me there was a puddle under my truck. Went and checked it out and sure enough brake fluid was dripping from the line going to the rear.
So at the end of the shift i topped off the reservoir and headed home, bonuses to getting off at 3am all the lights going my way are green in town and then it's 23 miles of straight country highway till I turn into my driveway, and no traffic except the same 3 cars in the same place every night.
Replaced the line in the morning bled the rears and tested it out. And low and behold the peddle pulsed, and as the rears started to lock they went through the lock/unlock cycle. Before they would either lock or do not a whole bunch of grabbing. It was actually bad enough I figured my truck didnt have rabs since I never looked for the module I didn't know.
Your RABS has a bleeder on it also. After the rears are bled then do the RABS then the fronts. When I adjusted my booster rod I deactivated the RABS by adjusting it to far in and experienced the rear brake locking etc. Is yours ok now? Sandy
Yeah, it works good. I've had the truck for 8 years and it's never worked that I could tell. Now it works fine. And the truck seems to stop better over all.
