I don’t think it’s possible...which is why I use the Edge CTS2 to monitor ambient air temp and air-temp at the intake.
May I ask where you’ve got the cts2 mounted? I have one from my former truck I haven’t added as I haven’t found the right spot for it yet. Pics are welcomed and appreciated.
I plasti-welded a puck on the inside of the a-pillar, by the drivers side visor. For me, it’s the perfect spot where I can see & use it without taking my eyes off the road. And the hdmi from the obd port is super easy to hide. I’ll take a pick in the a.m.
Its funny, last week I got in the truck, started down the road but never really looked at the screen. I know I was in CarPlay because my music had started, all good! I take a look at the screen a couple miles from the house and its a split display. CarPlay on the left, top to bottom and the right half was split with phone on the bottom and compass/outside temp on the top. I thought there must have been an update, perfect, so happy! It stayed like that for a couple songs...very cool! But as soon as I went to skip a song it was all gone, no way to get it back...full display of phone/CarPlay! About a month ago after getting fuel I pulled out on the highway, looked down and the screen was black, music being played from my phone through CarPlay but nothing on the screen. Messed with it but nothing, all controls worked on the wheel but no display. Had to pull over and restart the truck...fine ever since! I'm sure it will comeback to haunt me or should I say my wallet someday!
