using old hood emblems

I have a 1983 F350. It currently has no hood emblems. I was considering putting the old Ford emblem with the shield and lightning bolt. If I recall, there was a wider one and a smaller one that sort of looked like a shield. I was wondering if there is room for this emblem and/or if the angles are right for a good/flush fit. If not, I was thinking about adding the F O R D letters across the hood. I know it's not original, I just really liked those older emblems.

1953/56 same, but not the same as 1957/59. Two different lengths for 1960 (6 3/8" & 7.00"). Different: 1961/64 I-6 & V8, same used 1965/66 I-6 only.

None of these will fit properly on a 1980 and later. 1953/56 and 1961/66 are repro'd.
