... I am one to endorse everyone to get a welder!! it pays for itself quickly, makes crap like this less of an issue, and it's a skill you can use for the rest of your life so at least get a good Miller, Lincoln, or Hobart. Even Eastwood's line-up is decent.
OK I am going to state the obvious here. Ovalhead72 you need to clean up that engine and trans and stop the leaks before you worry about headers. With as much leaking as you have, you may end up with a fire!
I cut the tranny hard lines to get the header in which is where the fluid is from, the rubber lines are temporary as i have to bend some new lines.
Thanks for all y'alls help ill probably just get shorties and save these for another project as i need a rebuilt engine anyway.
