I just ordered a pair of headers from Ramchargers.com, and aren't sure they will fit on my truck. I have an 89 f150 XLT Lariat, with a 5 liter, and a 5 speed. The headers I ordered are Heddman hedders, full length. The problem is, is I heard there are no full length headers available for my engine and a manual transmission. I looked on Heddman's site, and it says the headers Ramchargers sell, the ones I bought, won't work with my truck. But, as far as I can see by eyeshot, they look like they should fit. Does anyone know what kind of complications I might run into? Any tips on header installations would be appreciated as well. Thanks

the biggest problems will be tranny crossmember, clutch linkage and starter

On the right side of your frame (drivers side) the frame will be in the way slightly, you can cut or grind down the frame to make them fit but it will take a while to get it right.
