2019 camera not clear
I came from a 2011 superduty with the backup camera in the mirror (xlt) truck.
backing into my garage now with the new 2019 lariat the rear view camera is dark and not as clear as the 2011.
has anyone noticed this?

My 2017 has 6 camera's and when new they were all fine. Then recently the tailgate camera and the front camera were both not clear. They had a kind of glare on both. You would really notice the problem on the 360 camera shot. Anyway Ford replaced them. I think they have a bad batch of them as our 2013 Taurus SHO backup camera is still great.

Is there a TSB on this. Seems like a lot of people have the same problem. Mine is unusable when the sun is low in the sky and there is a glare. I think the cameras need sun glasses.

I've had the front camera replaced on my 2017 a couple of months ago and now I'm waiting to have the rear camera replaced which was ordered a week ago when I had my truck in for service.

I've had the same complaint with my 2017 rear camera fro the day I got it. My wife's 2011 Edge camera is 4K compared to to the F-250.

so did the new cameras fix the problem? its almost like the cameras dont adjust to daylight/darkness like the old cameras did.

Wow. Glad I found this post. I have the 7 camera system on my 2019 and It just doesn't look very clear. Hard to put my finger on the problem but it doesn't look as bright and clear as all of my other Fords.

I just got back from the dealer for my oil change ( I have a bunch of free ones) and they looked at the image on the display and said they were going to order one. I wont be able to have it installed till after thanksgiving.
