Took my 2002 F350 CCLB to the woods yesterday and I’m very pleased with the performance. I will say that a CCLB is not the best truck for running the logging trails alone but I even took 10’ dump trailer to make sure I could get a good load.
After filling the bed to a healthy hump I proceed to do the same with the trailer then it was time to see if she would make it back to the top.
ZF6 transmission locked in low range 4x4 gave it enough throttle to hold around 2000 rpm and she crawled right up the hill no fuss.
I really liked this truck when I got it now I love it handles the load very well on and off the road.
l did not think to take a pic of her loaded but I will be going again in two weeks.
One piece of bad news I need u joints in front drive shaft under a load it squeaks even though they seemed ok on my inspection 2-3 months ago.
I’ll remove it and let local drive line company tackle that.

I was wet cold and sore first trip for wood this year and I think the wood got heavier since last year as well as the saws I just had my mind set on getting finished.

I might have to make a trip for wood as well before winter really sets in. Glad to hear your girl handled the trip and load well. Next time, don't forget pictures!
Stock size load range E Tread Wright remolds they were affordable when I needed them and 2500-3000 miles into them they look great run smooth and ware seems good.

Just lift it up and you'll love it more. Since everyone loves pictures. Here's mine in the woods with the puny little 36" tires on it
No lift for me I like not having to get a running start to get in.
Plus that would add to my wife’s list of things she hates about the truck!

We live in north GA and get 4 cords of wood every other year. We enjoy having a fire in the house. We have a fireplace in the living room and in the master bedroom. We also take a bunch with us when we camp too.
