Of course it cost me;
An engine into the X's Suby, 2 days to swap. 1.5 days to build my truck bed trailer that I couldn't get registered to bring back. 1 day of splitting and stacking firewood. 1 day of packing what I thought I wanted only to find out I left the real wants there and 2 days driving back with a wreck of a uhaul trailer, but I made it home. Lil' Ranger pulled as well as can be expected for large tires, a trailer load and trying to keep up to highway speeds. An average of 18 - 20 mpg wasn't too bad. Fortunately the weather was good, not hot or windy.
Now I can go out and explore some without tearing the belly out of my Focus and the next time we have an FTE meet I can drive a truck. I also have a place to hang my FTE sticker too.
I'm so jazzed to finally have it here before somebody smoked out the interior, (dam disrespectful smokers).
Anybody doin' trick or drinkin' on All Hallows Eve? It's my BD and I need a partay!!
Glad you made it back safely Rich! Feels good to have a truck I bet too! Halloween will consist of a bit of trick'r treatin with my daughter, then Saturday night is the adult costume party at a friend of mines house.
