Aftermarket E4OD
Just fishing around here to see if anybody's had any experience with this transmission or this company:

My new '94 IDI turbo I have a feeling is going to be seeing a new transmission not terrible far down the line, shifts and holds fine for now but that fluid smells burnt pretty bad and the pause when initially putting it into D or R is pretty serious, at least 2-3 seconds. The tranny I linked is cheaper than I can have mine rebuilt to factory level for, seems almost too good to be true.
