I have a picture of the 8'box that I shortened 11" to fit my shorty wheel base, this is with the old '65 cab.

I'm looking for bed wood and the bed strips for a long bed flareside. I've seen the strips on Dennis Carpenter and the wood for the long bed on Bruce Horkeys site. Do you guys know of any other suppliers out there?

Too bad you don't live closer. I have a whole selection of Festool wood working tools. The track saw could be used to whip those planks out in no time. Plane them down to correct thickness. Maybe use the router to create an edge on them. Would be a fun project.

Flareside bed parts reproduced by Mar-K (mar-k.com). If buying the 8' bed dividers, make sure they are the correct length for your truck.

A member bought the 'long' bed dividers from Carpenter, they were too short.

What length or the bed wood strip supposed to be in the long bed? My truck bed didn’t have them when I got it. I was also wondering if the bed sides sit in a groove on the edges like the slats do of directly on top of the wood? The sides bolt down to the wood don’t they?

This is genuine Ford, dunno if Carpenter and etc is the same.

C1TZ-8312605-C .. Wood Bed Steel Divider - 106 1/4" x 1 1/2" cut to fit: 1957/72 F100/350 Flaresides.
