Spray in bedliner seem real popular but does any one still use the drop in ? My new truck will be used as a work & weekend truck and I currently have a drop in my 04 which came from Ford & held up well. They are slippery but that can be good with loading & unloading & they also wash out easy.
Anti-skid, smooth floor, tailgate gap cover, cushion, and impact protection. I don't see the need for spray in with an aluminum bed; not too worried about corrosion! Plus, mats are a lot cheaper, and I can buy 3 or 4 for the price of a high quality spray in if the mats ever fade or deteriorate.

The bedrug does not provide any protection up the sides. I did a spray in liner not to protect the bed against corrosion but against all the scratches and dings since I use the hell out of my bed.
I went with a Ford OEM drop-in bedliner and tailgate liner. Easy, easy install. I like it, stuff slides in and out, and when needed I've used the tie down anchors as well as the box link system to secure the load with ratcheting straps. This is my 2nd Ford truck having the drop in bedliner.
I have had spray in liners on the past. The Dealer suggested that I look at BEDRUG IMPACT LINER, (https://bedrug.com/bedrug-impact-bed...250-super-duty) which he did not sell. I installed it back in August and I am glad that I did go with the BEDRUG IMPACT LINER. Go to one the Dealers for this liner and take a look. It does come in two different types so make sure you look at both. You may be surprised I was.
kdin1, what are the "two different types?" I only see the one on the bedrug website.
Edit: Now I see what you are saying. There is the BedRug Impact and the BedTread Impact. One is full coverage, one is a matt. The BedTread Impact was the one I am looking at.

Thick rubber mat so I can throw **** in the box without denting it.
Stuff stays put and doesn't slide around when I hit the brakes
no sanding off the finish of my new truck
no overspray
Looks great
very comfortable on my knees when I am kneeling in the bed of the truck.
super easy to install
removable but not sure why you'd want to
and
cup holder indentations on the tailgate cover. Shocked at how often I have a beer sitting there.

That seems like a very nice option with lots of protection. My wife is allergic to Latex so the rubber mat part wouldn’t work for us. I really like the simplicity of installation and the protection that the duraliner offers. Plus the cost is reasonable.
I’ve had Bedrug Bedliners on my last 4 trucks. I just removed my Bedrug Bedliner from our 2017 F350 and reinstalled it in our 2019 F350. After 2 years, the truck bed under the Bedliner was unscratched and looked brand new. Helped with trade in value.
