Vibrating during acceleration

i have a 2007 f250 SD V10. In the spring i took it in for new tires and was told I needed both tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joint, track bar ball joint and power steering box replaced. $2600 + tires. So I did all the above myself then had new tires put on and an alignment done.

i went from 37” tires to 35” because the 37” would rub on the inner fender and required spacers.

right after all this I had some vibrating on the highway at around 65 mph. Fast forward to today and it vibrates almost all the time when giving it gas.

Research tells me me this is the u joints but I am not sure if it is the u joints where I just pulled them out or the drive shaft. It also squeaks when I go in reverse.

could I have done something to mess up the u joints when I pulled them out to replace the ball joints?

New tires, start there. Go back to the shop and have them rebalanced. Tell them you want to know how much they each were off on weights too. If they don’t balance properly then have them mark the tire and the rim and spin the tire on the rim 180°. Once this is done you can look at the expensive stuff. You can also pull the front DS and see if the vibration is eliminated.

I'm assuming that since you were running 37s, you are lifted. Did you put the carrier bearing drop bracket in with the lift? If yours is crew cab, it has the carrier bearing, if it is super cab short bed or shorter (regular cab), it does not. There are threads all over the internet describing the same vibration that you are talking about, vibration under acceleration and then vibration all the time, that result in the carrier bearing for the rear driveshaft needing the drop bracket. Drop brackets are only around 50 bucks to buy, so after you have the tires re-balanced, you might want to look into that.

Squeak? If the squeak changes with your speed then it's definitely a u-joint.

Clarification: is it vibration at steady speed or during acceleration up to speed? If the later, its likely Ujoints and carrier if equipped.
Dont rule out engine trouble if you aren't having any luck. A bad wire, plug or injector can feel like a vibration in the driveline under load.
I just dropped 2K chasing a vibration too. Have the tires and rims checked for roundness or hop. Jack it up and put it in drive observe tires for hop.(safely).
A sharp tire tech will know what to look for. A sharp tire tech will also know how to use minimal weights and to rotate the tire around the rim to obtain a good balance. Trouble is time is money so its often never performed. A square tire will never balance. A road force machine will telltale a bad tire.

Check ujoints, pinion bearings, carrier bearing if equipped and those lovely brake caliper (non) sliding pins! A dragging caliper can cause highspeed vibration...ask how I know.

Try this. Stop, step on the brake with your left foot, then depress the throttle with your right foot, just a little.

Still feel that vibration that you felt when accelerating? If so, you have an engine miss.
