First time poster but have been lurking and utilizing this forums wealth of knowledge for some time. Thank you all for that. I'm finally forced out of the weeds due to an unsuccessful search for the info requested below;
I am wondering if anyone has had any luck finding vinyl trim paint that matches factory green door panels? I've searched a whole bunch on this site, as well as elsewhere on the web but have come up empty.
I am fortunate in that I have the factory ones too match, unfortunatley they are just to beat up for my liking. I have 2 new ones from Denis Carpenter that I would like to paint, but again, seeking some guidance on where to find proper matching paint.
Mine are almost an olive green, not what I see commonly see referred to as Jade. Sorry I can't provide pictures, I am currently on the road.
I like SEM paint made just for this I just don't know if they have the color to match your truck.
The red I am using is just a little brighter but because I am repainting everything it will all match.
Next thing to do is take 1 of the old panels to the auto paint supply store and see if they can mix a color to match. Some can even put it in spray cans.
