Mlps Solenoid
How hard is it to replace? How do i know that it is bad? my transmission shifts very hard into reverse....there is a couple second delay..also when driving around town it will hunt for the right gear around 40mph constantly downshifted and upshifting. Please dont tell me my tranny is going bad...

Could be a bad tranny. The MLPS is a snap to replace; you just have to line up the notches before you bolt it back on. One nut gets the shift linkage, and two bolts get the sensor.
If the MLPS is out of range, it will throw a code that you can see by pulling the codes. But it doesn't always throw a code...
