I see people around here try and get $1500 -$1000 for blown up v10’s and they sit on Craigslist for months before ending up at pick n pull. You might get lucky with a 7.3 dreamer though. a reman motor is $10k and good or at least running used ones are hard to come by. You can try LKQ.

Damn. Sorry to hear. If the body/frame is good and there are nice upgrades, it would probably be worth the expense of doing a new motor - try to find a good 7.3 Ex for under $15k. They're out there, but few and far between - much less one you know and trust.
