Thanks for letting us know it's running. Too bad you had to bypass things to get it working, but hey, a win is a win sometimes, even if it's meant to be just temporary.

These things really do look like a rat's nest sometimes. But the good news is that you're not crazy, and there are usually lots of wires that go nowhere because it's cheaper for Ford to make all the harnesses the same for most all of the pickups, whether they come with the appropriate options or not.
Things like cab top clearance lights, camper wiring, CB radio power, cruise control, fog lights, and lots of little things we don't even think about like the difference in smog control devices between an F150 and 250 and 350.

So yeah, you end up with lots of stuff that has no logical termination point.

Same issues with mine.
Said the hell with it and went hei.
That was a little problematic getting oil pressure but succeeded after a bit.
