Any word on yours? Mine is going in tommorow for dpf back replacement. I have cab and chassis so new scr too. They tried adjusting threshold on exhaust monitor but it failed too.
So yesterday the downpipe to the intercooler popped off and we ended up on the edge of the road waiting for a wrecker. it ended up a nice young man stopped and helped us out and went and got a clamp and we were able to make it to the campground across from the Ford dealer. This a.m. took the truck to the Ford dealer and they put on a new downpipe and the truck required Regen so they did that and got my truck back to me today.
We are traveling across and down Wyoming heading south and eventually will be in Arizona. On the way south on 25 my check engine light came on just outside Cheyenne Wyoming. We got off the Highway and stopped at an auto parts store who read the code and and it came up with a p2002 code. When we looked it up it again has to do with the diesel particulate filter. So my question is with tomorrow being Sunday and I do not have the model that you can force a Regen should I wait until Monday and get it to the Ford dealer again or do you think it is safe to drive?
The best option that I use especially if your out of warranty, but I carry a bully dog BDX it's usually for performance but it's also used for get way better gas mileage on road trips, and in and around town. You can do a lot with this device.. erase codes like the p2002 and many more.. one of the best things I've bought for my truck.. good thing is when you get a new truck of any kind,, instead of buying a knew bully dog device you call and they email you a new update for your new vehicle. Good luck, I know this is annoying. www.bullydog.com
