So most of the times my truck runs good. Its started a weird issue starting sometimes it will blow a lot of white smoke and start rough but doesmt do it much at all. Also it could do that at 60 degrees. It also at times will Search for rpms at idle, maybe fluctuate up and down 100-200 rpms. I have had it trip the SES but most of the times it wont. I have scanned it with forscan a number of times with really no help. The ICap and IPR are around 2 years old (new oem). My icp plug is sorta lose and I have a replacement pigtail to try but cant seem to guess what this issue could be any ideas or tests to run? Truck has 306k thanks

 

Does it only do this on a cold start or also on hot starts?

 

The starting issue use to seem like it did it once the truck sat for a couple days without being ran. Now it does it whenever it feels like it. It may be 30 degrees in the morning and start and run fine. Also the glow plugs and relay have been replaced within the last couple years.
