93 460 firm shift after ignition timing.

Hi guys dropped in some new Bosch plugs the other day, also put in a couple of degrees of timing to take it up to 12. Truck runs great and very responsive but have noticed a sudden change in the way it shifts. It was never Lincoln smooth but now it's almost race car firm. I don't mind it but was wondering if anyone had seen a similar situation after adding some timing?
