Air bag beep
I recently bought a 1994 F-150 XLT with 150,000 miles to have around house. Upon turning ignition to on or starting the truck I get the dreaded 5X airbag beep five times. I've ruled out the light bulb being the cause, and am wondering what else I need to check into -- could clockspring be culprit (horn, cruise, etc. work just fine)? I've read a lot of posts about switching out the instrument cluster bulb to alleviate this issue but not as much luck finding other ideas to investigate once bulb ruled out so will take any info I can get. The prior owner mentioned a new ignition was installed (I don't know when) if that could make any difference. Thanks!
