Yes, B&W works too. If a gooseneck adapter hitch was industry standard - seems like it could solve a lot of headaches.

Oh man...

Knowing how mad I get over oily hand prints.... I'd probably have a frickn cow over that...when they ignore a customer's requests...it really burns my butt.

All I can suggest is you try to sell the mount you don't want and install the mount you do want.

I wish I could make the dealerships do exactly what I want; like some people do or claim they can or would do.....

Some state laws allow the customer to return a vehicle; under a certain mileage.

Ah well, what the heck do I know about "buyer's remorse...//s.

As an attorney, who practices contract law, I assure you that you are wrong. If you made an arrangement directly with the dealer, (if State Law allows), you may purchase the vehicle with provisions as you suggested, however there is no State Law, or Federal Law for that matter, that stipulates that a dealer must “return a vehicle under a certain mileage”. Feel free to research the subject.

Was the hitch deal in writing, that you signed? Ask the dealer to throw in a bed liner/mat ( to cover holes ) , and refund rails etc. - Etrailer has the Reese OEM puck kit. Many posts on here how to install it, not to hard.. I leave my 5ver hitch in 99% of the time, so I was fine and save at least 500$ by going with rails.

That is not correct. Actually an old wives tale. Why it is still going around is beyond me..

I must agree it is just kind of sad to see so many people who are naive about something that could cost them a heck of a lot of money and embarrassment!

Yea, I would be pretty pissed off. Sounds like you got screwed twice. One: for getting rails and Two: for getting charged for the factory puck system and getting 3rd party rails. I would think that would be a big cost difference.
