Glow plug time

Well it is that time of the truck's life where it needs a little work.... 8yrs ago I replaced the glow plugs & relay and up until this past spring she has done well with cold starts. But they seem to be fading. I will be checking the relay too as I replaced that back then with the Stancor Heavy duty relay. May still be OK but want to be sure.
Back then tho...someone on here had found a fantastic deal on the glow plugs. Was wondering if there was another sale on em. Maybe a group buy deal or something?

They only cost about $10 apiece. I wouldn't expect to find them a lot off of that.

Yeah I know but I am a tightwad. Always looking for the better deal.

I did fond em for $70 with a coupon code....but still trying to lower that.

I see two different designations of the glow plugs in that ad. Are they the same, just different vintage?

I've read not to go cheap on glow plugs as the tips can break off into the engine if you go with cheapo's. I bought mine from Riffraff and have been happy.

I'm not basing my choice on the brand. I am still going with Motorcraft ZD11s. Was just trying to find any sales. I have already ordered a set with coupon codes and all I am at $70. Better than the $90 most other places wanted before tax and shipping.
