I know so much is digital these days, but I like keeping books, still use my old Chiltons Manuals from the 60's/70's that I got from my dad, along with other FSM's I have for my other fords. I'm trying to find, if possible a printed wiring schematic/diagrams for the 1978 F150s. I have a number of plug connections that are sitting without being attached to anything, and curious what they goto. Plus I will be rewiring my truck in the near future, and it would be beneficial to have the diagrams.
I have the Haynes manual that has the wiring diagrams for trucks (F-100 thru F350) and Bronco's from 1973 thru 1979. I've used the schematics quite a bit on my 75 F-250 as well as my 71 Bronco (not much changed between 71 and 73). The manual # is 36054. I like having books too and have a shelf in my shop just for all my manuals/reference books. The wiring diagrams are broken down for each year from 1973 thru 1979 for the trucks as well as for the Bronco. You can probably find them on Amazon fairly inexpensively ($20.00ish) if that seems like what you can use.
Mark.

Doesn't solve my desire to have a printed copy. 78 is incomplete at this time also. I'm sure most of the basics are the same from year to year, but I know ford well enough, to know they liked to change stuff between model years. I've even had this experience with mid 90s model Jeeps where wiring harness should interchange, but do not.
