Wiring year by year

Hi

Before I begin my EZ Wiring harness install, I got some good wiring diagrams from the 76 model year, vs mine 77.

I know they make another one specifically for 77, Im unfamiliar with fords wiring color history so I seek some advice on, whether they are similar.

I really see no reason for a different edition vs i. e. 73-79 so Im confused... lol

I posted some here for a 79, bottom of first page, top of second page. Since they are the same series of truck I would not think the wiring would be that much different between years.
