Brake Line Question
First time posting hoping if anyone could give me some advice on how to fix my 1999 F150 (5.4, 4x4, REG CAB 8FT BED, 94k). I've had the truck nearly two years and up until recently its been a great truck but then about 10 weeks ago everything has gone to ****. I've replaced several items and I am hoping this s the last of the issues with this truck for while. Today the primary brake hose sprang a leak at one of the bends. This line connects the master cylinder to the abs sensor. I ordered a new hose that will arrive tomorrow. My question is what is the best way to repair this? I know once I switch out the line I will need to bleed the brakes but what about the master cylinder? Will I need to bench bleed this as well? Is there anything else I need to be aware of? I've done several brakes jobs but never messed with the brake lines before and money is tight at the moment so I would rather not go to a mechanic. Thanks for any advice anyone can provide.
