My grill emblem doesn't look much better, I think they are being reproduced. I think I have a set of reproduced Custom Cab emblems for 56 Ford truck doors.
I`m going to make a set of rear bumper arms for my 53.
Mid Fifties have the reproduction grill emblems but unfortunately they won`t usually mail them. With their ridiculously expensive shipping to Canada plus exchange it gets really costly: Search Results - Mid Fifty F-100 Parts
Triple approach, wire brush, braided wire wheel, and the flap disk to clean the frame. Mucho dust in the shop, glad for the respirator. Sandblasting too expensive for this budget build. Cab still on truck (space is an issue) so will work up the back half and once completed will pull the cab and do the front. Sorry about the text, can't seem to reverse it.
Diff back, now has 3.50 gears, Truetrac posi, new bearing/seals. Now to cut off spring perches and rebuild rear brakes. Dropped the front suspension, went pretty easy except for one pin that had to be pounded out.
Stripped out the cab today. A few screws are still soaking and I will have a lot of holes to fill. Question: has anyone used the repair panel for the lower dash? I know it won’t cover the cutout made for a radio but maybe the many holes. Does anyone know if it just welded on top? What about switches? Thanks in advance.

Reason: addition
Anyone recognize the radio in the pic of the previous post? Just wondering what vehicle it may have come from....thinking about a Retro Sound radio and just use the hole as is.....may be pretty hard to repair nicely.
At $349 US it`ll could well over $500 by the time it arrives here, a local installation shop may have a trim plate to use with a much cheaper Bluetooth radio/CD player.
