correct. Do it through CarPlay, assuming you have an iPhone. You have to connect through USB, not Bluetooth to start CarPlay.

I also have the 2.0 (or 2.2 not sure) and I don't see the option for using Google Maps

Personally, I'm waiting for CoPilot to update their app to be available in CarPlay, I'd love to be able to have my 'RV' version up on the screen. The Ford factory Nav hasn't run me wrong yet, but I prefer something that isn't going to try to run me under a 10' overpass when I have the fiver in tow.

Good to know, my company is pretty conservative with IT so maybe they're just holding back looking for bugs.

I just noticed you can delete Apple Maps from iOS12. I don't think you could on previous versions. So that's a good way to clean up your Carplay screen without having to start a second screen.

Thats cool except my older IPhone is stuck on version 10. Think it'll still work? Cant try it on the SD cause I won't have it until 10-21. Thanks!!

seems like a lot of people had problems with 3.0 not starting up the radio where they left it. Seems to default to fm radio. Is that still the case?

I've tried to scan for updates using WiFi, and after 20-30mins nothing shows up. Is like searching for updates forever.

Kinda disappointed Waze isn't Car Play compatible with IOS12. The rumor was it would be. Guess the developers have to play catch up.

It would have to be better than the current version of waze outside of CarPlay. It freezes up half the time. I try to tap the screen and not buttons work. I’m using google maps on CarPlay now until a better option arises. I updated my phone yesterday and used google maps on our trip last night with the camper and it worked flawlessly. I really like the satellite view. If we need fuel we can find the gas station and zoom in and see how easy/difficult it may be.
