Used 6.0

Hello I am looking at a 2003 with the 6.0, 110000 milles one owner in excellent condition. I am a GC and haul trailers full of materials and demo junk around with a 6x12 dump trailer. Question is what should I look for when purchasing a diesel, should I bring it to a shop before buying? It is clear that this truck has been taken care of, but don't want to buy a dog from a individual with no recourse if it is a lemon.

If this is mint condition crew cab Lariat 4x4 with an impeccable service history/oasis reports, then maybe that price will find a possible buyer, anything less than that is too much

You can download Torq Pro to your smart phone, purchase a Bluetooth OBD 2 ELM327 so you can see what the engine is doing. Looking for temperature spread between oil and water temps for the health of the oil cooler. Information in our Tech Folder will guide you to an informed purchase.

Any pictures of the truck and under the hood? DO NOT impulse buy.....
