Head lifting brackets
They work well. Passenger side doesn't fit exactly flush but will set the head at the correct angle. Send me a PM if interested in a loaner.

Thanks for the offer but with the link you provided it may be cheaper to just buy one than pay shipping back and forth. Thanks all around.
I am doing it cab on so the manifolds will come out with the head. That strap looks pretty thin. I would be worried it would not hold the weight. In any event, it is a simple solution that has worked. Thanks for the suggestion and photos.
I know everyone who sees it worries about the strength, but it's a good quality stainless clamp. That grade has a tensile strength of 31,200 lbs, and at its sectional size it won't yield until 1,466 lbs. So a 75 lb head and rocker box isn't a challenge.
Now, you only need an 8mm bolt to lift a power stroke 6.0 out of the frame and things got interesting when I was proofing what to use to pull the motor. But I freak you guys out already.
The one issue with the Adel clamp is it lifts the head flat front to back. Down the road when I go back together I'm going to play with some 8020 stock and maybe the clamp so you can position the lifting point so the attitude of the head can be set equal to the angle of the block deck in the frame, and if with or without the manifold. Just not there yet.
