I used Alla LED bulbs for both switchback and for my fog lights. The switchbacks have been in since the beginning of the year with no problems. I had one fog light burn out after several months. Contacted Alla via Amazon and they replaced it right away with no problem. I simply returned the bad bulb to them.
You have no issues with flicker I assume?
They look nice too...
No issues at all. Been in the truck since 2/1/18. And as I found out with the burned out Alla fog light bulb, they'll stand behind it.
I've since switched the fogs out to Beamtech, while Alla was replacing the bad one, so I now have a pair of Alla LED fogs for spares.

Thats great!!! I have beamtech in headlights and fogs. I'll order these and reply back... Do they match well color wise with the rest of the set up?
I suspect early 17 models may be more susceptible to problems when upgrading to led's. I have a job 1 and had all kind of problems with trying to upgrade to led bulbs, in the end I wound up going factory led lights and even then I had tons of problems until all of the for scan changes were found. I would say its either the type of bulb you chose or you will need to make a forscan change or 2 to get thing corrected. I do not believe the ground or alternator theory's
Hello. It's been a while. . I thought I had this figured out.. I have morimoto 7443 switch back bulbs now... They are fine when the truck is off... They are fine when the truck is running... Its when I use the turn signal... When they go from blinking amber back to white... After they are done blinking amber they stop then slowly come back but flicker till they stabilize... Ever thing else is fine... I dont like this 3 to 4 seconds of flickering... Once they stabilize there fine... They do it every time.. Or when I start the truck and turn the parking lights on, same thing... Any one have input or a fix, or a reason as to why?
Thanks in advance.

Go to the Diode Dynamics website and give them a call. They should be able to get you squared away.

Have you contacted Morimoto to ask? I always thought they were pricey but many here recommended them in the past. Could they be just a tiny bit loose in the socket? Some brands of bulbs had questionable bases where they wouldn't snap in as tight as one would like. I think myself and another user removed just a tiny bit of material with a Dremel type tool from the bases of ours for a more secure fit.
I just put in Headlight Revolution switchbacks and have not had an issue. I also didn't put in a resistor just made changes in FORSCAN
I ended up doing the same thing.. Same bulb
GTR... Same ones headlight revolution sell. No issues... Had to use dremel on base to have a more secure fit though... Other then that... We're good now...
