99' headlight switch ilumination bulb
I had the switch out a couple of weeks ago to repair my digital odometer.
Now the headlight switch doesn't iluminate the symbols when the lights are on.
I took the switch out and discovered a bulb is bad, called the dealer for replacement and was told I had to buy the whole switch, that FORD does not offer the bulb seperately. I removed the bulb, it ought to be replacable. Took it to a few parts stores but nobody has seen anything like it before. It has a grey plastic body with a tiny bulb on the end of it that has a small green rubber boot over the bulb itself, the whole thing is about 3/4 of an inch long, just a half a turn with a small screwdriver and it fell right out of the back of the headlight switch. Can any one help me out with this, any ideas as to how to get a new bulb and where?
