Cooler?!? We started out this morning at 82! That's the low so far. I don't like it when it doesn't cool off at night. But I hear the forecast is cooler for the rest of the week.

I hope that no one has to drive to Oregon right now. This latest Fire has created a complete mess of our highway system up here. Drivers are needing between two and five more hours to make the trip depending on accidents, congestion and routes.
please keep everyone in your positive thoughts.

Hay y’all got the barn loaded for the Winter , still need probably 40 more Bail , but that’s going to have to wait till my Back feels like bucking hay again , the weather has been good , cool nights with day temps around 90s, no chance of rain in the forecast unless I turn the sprinklers on , it’s been a dust bowl lately with all the Amond and grape Harvest going on around here , have a great week .

Happy Monday all. Temps have cooled down a little here, and it looks like the 100+ days are over. I for one am glad. Had a doctor visit last week, and then a med tech came out to fit me for a leg compression pant leg. Will have to use it once a day for 45 minutes. It will help reduce the swelling in my lower right leg which has ballooned up these past two months. Since I usually take a nap every day I will just put it on then and go to sleep. It is basically a massage/compression effect. It starts at the ankle and then compresses different chambers up until the thigh.

Yah. We have plans to go to Eureka on Thursday. Luckily, we will just be going up 101. I5 looks pretty bad right now.
