i welded it to keep it from spreading. Even though it most likely wouldnt since it wasnt a tear, Id still rather it all be together.

Today I started a cab swap on a volvo. Cab was hit so hard, if we replaced everything, the left door, left side, and firewall would be the only thing standing there. Floor is even rippled all the way to the drivers side, and the steering column points towards the middle of the cab

We left a little later than I was planning but we made it just fine. A few little things went wrong, the fridge quit cooling on gas and would not cool on electric but now it’s working just fine on electric. It ruined the breakfast muffins we had in the freezer but we got some doughnuts from the corner store and continued on. I need to reseal the potty as it has a very small leak on it somewhere when you flush it. I lost power to the remote battery charger sometime going down the highway and the battery was dead in the hummer when we got to the campground. The campground sent someone over and they jumped it off for us. I have a portable jumper box and didn’t bring it, I will next time and jumper cables too.

Cant take the scooter on the roads because I don’t have a tag on it so me and little man just cruise the campground. The daughter was planning on driving the hummer around and being super cool so we rented a golf cart and put an end to those plans. I used about half a tank of fuel which is right around a hundred dollars, would have spent that just driving the hummer down.

It rained like crazy the last hour on the highway getting here but was been nice ever since. Little man loves playing in the sand but not so fond of the water. I think the waves have him a little spooked. The wife is having a good time and says we can do this again and even wants us to drive to Las Vegas. The campground is nice but it has dirt lots so I am fighting to keep the dirt out of the motorhome. If we come again I would pick a back in space as the drive thru spaces are really tight. A few little hiccups and lessons learned but all in all everything is good and having a great time.

See you have started you list of stuff to add. If not on there need some type of rv mat or indoor outdoor carpet. Does Fl require tag on 49 cc? I saw o e the other day the guy made that had 49 cc in big letters.
The hurricane did not make it this way.

I was not sure if the park cable tv would work in the motorhome since I never tested it but it does! So we had something to watch other than Mickey Mouse. So I have been watching the news and keeping an eye on the weather. Checked the oil levels today and everything is great, did not use a drop of oil in the engine or generator. I have an outdoor mat and laid it out but need another one. Playing with little man out on the beach my back is super burnt. The washer quit working tonight so I will have to fix that. The wife says she is sorry that we have to go home tomorrow, she is having a good time.

Sounds like another check in the go ahead and retire column . So far you only have small things to fix. The washer if it too expensive to fix pull it out reuse the space and just find a laundrymat if you need to wash clothes. TThgey were not know for efficiency plus you have to do very small loads. Be safe coming home

Yes you have to have a tag on a 49cc scooter in Florida. I will have to see if I can get a Georgia tag for it before our next trip to the beach. The wife says I have to fix the washer, she loved it being right there in the motorhome. The daughter has a full time job now and the boyfriend is acting like he wants them to get married. Pretty soon it will just be me, the wife and little man traveling so it would be perfect even with small loads. Have to work at least one more year to get where I want to be money wise.

something to consider is get one of the mail fwding services., they were setup for fulltimers, Did you get a title on the scooter. I would ask on some of the rv forums how others handled it.

Fox appliance may yave parts the washer.

We do cab replacements on excavators especially on the ones with thumbs and they hit the cabs with logs.
We made it home safe yesterday afternoon with no issues on the highway The fridge worked perfectly with the generator running while we were going down the highway so I have no idea what it's problem was before we left. There are a couple of thing that I need to look at in the coach but there was nothing major that went wrong thank goodness. Think we may look for a Jeep wrangler next year to pull instead of the Hummer, the wife likes the idea of the half doors and a bikini top. It was nice to have as a backup in case we broke down on the highway but it's very heavy and because we rented the golf cart we didn't really drive it.

On the fridge it sounds like the draft tube or flue is stopped up. The manual should have a section on the gas maintenance. If it works 9 electric just run it that way. The generator uses about a pint of fuel an hour. If you get a Jeep get 4wd.
On the scooter I would call the fl dmv and ask about a tag for it and explain that GA does not require one.

Trying to get a Florida tag would be a hassle and I looked into it while we were there, You need a Florida address, 245 dollar fee, inspection, insurance, letter from the title holder, etc, etc. Might be easier to just get a Georgia tag, may not be required here but I might still be able to get one. Insurance is only 75.00 a year for full coverage so that's minimal.

Red tide was there and it made you cough a lot, wife was not real fond of the dead fish floating around. Little man was not cool with the waves splashing on him so we let him play in the sand for a while then retreated to the pool at the campground. Everyone had a real good time and did not want to leave, the wife says we have to come back and stay longer next time, hoping for the middle April next year.

Sucks about the algae bloom (red tide). Glad everyone had a good time. I still think there must be some type exemption for out of state scooters. Ask on some 9f the rv forums I know you are not the only one that takes a scooter down there.

Check into driver license requirment in Fl. It may be easier and cheaper to just rent a scooter in Fl they few times you are down there

After looking into it deeper it looks like I can register it the same way as you do a motorcycle. It says I don't have to register it but if I do I have to keep insurance on it and it's 20 bucks for a tag. My loving bride cleaned out the motorhome for me while I was at work yesterday. Yay !! Plugged the motorhome in as soon as we got home on Sunday and the fridge seems to be working normal again, one of those weird glitches I guess.

The water pump finally came in for the 745 and it's a real pain because it has to be installed in pieces. The main pump body is in but can't get the backing plate plate on. I tried for over 2 hours to try to get it wiggle into position around everything but it looks like I am going to have to loosen the oil cooler and move it over an inch to get the plate on.

How often are you going to be where you have no access to shore or generator? The propane side I would not worry about.
I know you do not need it GA but does Fl require a motorcycle endorsement

You will get the waterpump on. Just take a break and go back to beach time
